First Grade Fashionista!

My fashion diva is ready for First Grade!!

Teagan was very excited to start her first day of first grade. She was up early and dressed before we even knew she was awake.

Once we got to CBPA she took off to find her classroom.

She was thrilled to have her own desk and was such a big girl.

It was so strange but Teagan is in class with Amelia (Mia) Blanchette and Mia's mom, Sarah, and I graduated HS together in Marquette, Mi! We were talking about how strange it is that our girls are in class together when another mom mentioned SHE was also from Marquette but graduated several years before us. It's a very small world!

School: CBPA - Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy for Math and Environmental Science (a mouthful)
Teacher: Ms. Nora Short

Watch out world here comes Teagan!

Say Ya to da U.P Eh!

One of our most favorite times to head to Marquette is for the long holiday weekend. The weather is usually predictable and nice enough to spend time out at the Lake. This year was no exception and Nolan and Teagan loved every minute of it.

Teagan finally had the nerve to jump off the dock at Gigi's place next door - such a brave girl!!

SPLASH!!!

Nolan had a great time swinging on the deck out in the fresh air. He giggled at all the tickle bellies!

We also had a grew time trolling around in the pontoon - the weather was beautiful as we end the summer in Michigan!

CDAA Hurricanes Soccer

Teagan decided to try her hand - well, actually her feet at the game of soccer this summer. It's been a fun season with daddy as her coach!

Now a few action shots and the grand finale with a trophy celebration! There was a lot to celebrate as the Hurricanes lost only 2 games the whole season. While Teagan did a great job and had a lot of fun she was not able to get a goal this year. But there's always next year, kiddo!!

Nolan's Baptism

Special boy; special day! Last weekend was Nolan's baptism. We have been blessed to be able to celebrate both Nolan and Teagan's special days in Marquette with family, friends and Deacon Jamieson at St. Peter's Cathedral. Without fail Nolan showed up with his lungs in full force and there was nothing stopping him from screaming through the entire Baptism. While it was a special day it made for a very long and uncomfortable ceremony.

We love you little guy - regardless of your finicky ways!

Dear Tooth Fairy...

When you see this little girl tonight with a hole in her mouth please make sure you leave her something special!!

Yahoo! Teagan FINALLY lost her first tooth! She waited and waited all year long to lost a tooth just like all of her school friends. Once summer arrived she lost her first tooth - it wasn't during school but she was still pretty excited! The Tooth Fairy came and left her TEN DOLLARS and left a trail of her green and gold glitter behind. So fun!

Kindergarten Graduate!!

What an exciting year! Teagan had a wonderful first year of school. She loved her teacher, Mrs. Ruth Klukow and made so many amazing friends. She's grown quite a bit this year - here's her picture on the last day of kindergarten!

It was a very bitter sweet day for us as a Kindergarten graduation is a sure sign that our little girl is growing up. I teared up during the ceremony but she was so excited!

After all the pomp and circumstance there was a Kindergarten picnic where Teagan spent time playing with her BFF Emily Rosin! She's going to miss Emily next year as they will be at different elementary schools.

Congratulations to our little graduate!!!

Four Parks. One Day.

With only a few days left on our Disney Spring Break 2018 we headed over to Epcot. We jumped on Test Track (may the best car win!) and then ...
